STARTING DATES IN MADRID
TUESDAY - From MARCH to OCTOBER
Day 1: (Tuesday) MADRID - CORDOBA - SEVILLA
Departure from our Terminal, located in the underground parking of the Plaza de Oriente, at 09.00 hours towards La Mancha, where we will stop at the typical Don Quixote souvenir store. Continuing we will arrive at Córdoba, with its historic center is a World Heritage Site. We will visit the city with a walking tour along the Jewish Quarter, and its famous Mosque (interior visit). In the afternoon we will continue to Seville. Accommodation. Free time.
Day 2: (Wednesday) SEVILLE
Breakfast. In the morning, a panoramic tour of the University, María Luisa Park, Plaza de América, the Pavilions of the Universal Exhibition of 1929, and the Murillo Gardens, where we will start a walking tour of the Barrio de Santa Cruz, until we reach the Cathedral (interior visit) with the Giralda. Afternoon free, for you to be able to continue visiting the city and its typical quarters. Accommodation.
Day 3: (Thursday) SEVILLA - CÁDIZ - JEREZ - LA LÍNEA (GIBRALTAR) - COSTA DEL SOL
Breakfast and departure to Cádiz, a city that with its 3,000 years of history, boasts to be the oldest European city. Brief panoramic tour. We will continue to Jerez, where we will visit one of its famous wineries. Then we will arrive at La Línea, a city bordering Gibraltar. Free time to cross the border and enter this peculiar British enclave with its famous Rock, spectacular viewpoint of the African Coast. In the afternoon we will continue towards the Costa del Sol. Dinner and accommodation.
4th Day: (Friday) and 5th: (Saturday) COSTA DEL SOL
Breakfast, dinner and accommodation. Free days in this world famous tourist enclave, bathed by the Mediterranean and the mountains behind them. You can enjoy its beaches, considered among the best in Europe, its famous marinas, “chiringuitos” (beach bars), and restaurants.
6th Day: (Sunday) COSTA DEL SOL - ALGECIRAS / TARIFA - TANGER - RABAT
Breakfast and departure along the Costa del Sol until reaching Tarifa, where we will board the ferry to cross the Strait of Gibraltar towards Tangier. The Strait of Gibraltar is the natural separation between two seas, the Mediterranean and the Atlantic Ocean and between two continents and their different cultures, Europe and Africa. During this pleasant journey of approximately 15 kms., we will have the opportunity to see from the boat friendly groups of dolphins that inhabit these waters throughout the year and sometimes even orcas and migratory whales. Disembarkation and short panoramic visit of this labyrinthine city like few in the world and whose proximity to the old continent and the strong presence of European powers marked its history giving rise to a multicultural society. Continuation to Rabat, current capital of the Kingdom of Morocco. Panoramic tour of the city touring the Royal Palace, the Mausoleum of Mohamed V, the Hassan Tower and the Fortress or the Kasbah des Oudaias. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 7º: (Monday) RABAT - CASABLANCA - MARRAKECH
Breakfast and departure to Casablanca, the economic, industrial and financial capital of Morocco, that represents development and modernity and is the main port in the country. Panoramic visit of this cosmopolitan and legendary city. After the visit, we will have free time to visit the impressive Mosque of Hassan II, the third largest in the world. Continue to Marrakech. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 8: (Tuesday) MARRAKECH
Breakfast, lunch and lodging. In the morning visit of the imperial city and capital of the South, where the Koutoubia Tower (twin sister of the Giralda of Seville) stands out, the Saadian tombs, the Bahia Palace and the impressive Djemaa El Fna Square, Cultural Patrimony of the Humanity and a true showcase of Moroccan life and culture, where you can admire musicians, snake charmers, acrobats, dancers, etc. Free afternoon in which you can continue visiting the city.
9th Day: (Wednesday) MARRAKECH - MEKNES - FEZ
Breakfast and departure to Meknes, capital of the kingdom in the times of the Sultan Muley Ismail, founder of the Alawite dynasty and Cultural Heritage of Humanity. They built an impressive city surrounded by high walls with monumental doors. Panoramic tour of the city where we can admire the door or gate of "Báb Al Mansour", the largest and the most beautiful in North Africa, the Barns and Stables and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. Continuation to Fez. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 10.º: (Thursday) FEZ
Breakfast, lunch and lodging. In the morning panoramic tour of the city, home of the oldest university in the world. We will visit the Jewish and Christian quarters, the seven gates of the Royal Palace and the Great Medina of Fez, the largest pedestrian area in the world and a World Heritage Site, where we will visit a Madrasa (Koranic school) from the 14th century. Free afternoon.
Day 11.º: (Friday) FEZ - TANGER - TARIFA / ALGECIRAS - COSTA DEL SOL
Breakfast and departure to Tangier, where we will embark on the ferry to cross the Strait of Gibraltar again towards Tarifa / Algeciras. Disembarkation and continuation to the Costa del Sol. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 12.º: (Saturday) COSTA DEL SOL - GRANADA
Breakfast and free time Mid-morning departure to Granada, visiting the monumental site of the Alhambra, declared a World Heritage Site, with its beautiful Nasrid Palaces and Generalife Gardens. Accommodation.
Day 13.º: (Sunday) GRANADA - ALICANTE - VALENCIA
Breakfast and departure to Alicante. Panoramic tour of this beautiful city on the shores of the Mediterranean. Continuation to Valencia. Accommodation.
14th Day: (Monday) VALENCIA - BARCELONA
Breakfast. Free time to explore the city or visit the modern set of the City of Arts and Sciences. Continuation to Barcelona. Accommodation.
Day 15.º: (Tuesday) BARCELONA
Breakfast. In the morning, a panoramic tour through the Plaza de España, Montjuic, where a stop will be made at the Mirador and then a walking tour through the Gothic Quarter, to see the Plaza San Jaume, the Town Hall and the Cathedral (interior visit) finalizing the visit in the Plaza de Cataluña. Free afternoon. Accommodation.
Day 16.º: (Wednesday) BARCELONA - ZARAGOZA - MADRID
Breakfast and departure to Zaragoza. Free time to visit the Basilica of the Virgen del Pilar, patron saint of Hispanidad and explore Zaragoza’s old town. In the afternoon, continuation to Madrid. THE END OF THE TRIP.
